Bonnie Khoury, BS
Bonnie Khoury,
Assessor, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology.
Bonnie
has been employed by the Coordinating Agency since 1997.
She has many years of
experience working in the human service field. Her past
experience includes the
following positions; Domestic Violence Program Coordinator,
Juvenile Probation Officer,
FIA Case manager, and Community Services Outreach Worker.
Bonnie is a certified
Assessment & Referral Management Specialist (ARMS-I)
through McBAP.
Barbara Bouwkamp, BS, MA
Barbara Bouwkamp is the EAP Consultant and primary contact person
for EAP
services. Barbara is also the Woman and Family Specialist and
does some drug and alcohol screening with referrals. In addition to a counseling background Barbara has taught school in Ohio, managed a medical
office, and has extensive volunteer experience. She is also on the Ontonagon Rural Electrification Association board.
Barbara serves on the FEMA Board,
the Copper Country United Way Board, and has been President of various hospital auxiliary
boards. She has been involved with fund-raising for several organizations. Barbara has a special interest in working with adolescents, has a BS from Michigan Technological University and an MA from Marshall University in Counseling and Rehabilitation. She has done additional work at Northern Michigan
University in School Counseling.
Patrick Smith
Patrick Smith, Assessor, graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, He has experience working as a substance abuse counselor and in the mental health fields. Patrick moved to Kingsford area from the Detroit suburban area. Patrick also has experience working in the developmentally disabled field. In his spare time, Patrick teaches Tai Chi. He has competed in the Pan American Games in Toronto in 1999 in Tai Chi. Patrick was hired in 2004.
